1.  Credit cards and paypal are ONLY accepted from USA residents with a physical and confirmed address.  Paypal with confirmed address on approval will will be accepted from Canada, UK and Australia.  Hawaii, Alaska, & Puerto Rico will have to pay extra to upgrade to UPS second day air.  Canada pays flat $40 for ground.  Only money orders, checks or wires will be accepted for other international or APO addresses.  Military, APO, FPO bound shipment can not be paid for electronically.  To make a payment from the U.K., Canada or Australia you must read and accept the following terms. 

a) Payment from overseas is due by bank wire or paypal confirmed account only.  no credit cards allowed

b) Customer must accept liability for all custom duties.  Contact your customs in your country please. we do not know the rates.  Do not order from us from overseas unless you know how much customs fees are.

c) Order must be approved by a manager prior to processing.  there is a chance that once your order is in it will be refunded.

d) Once the customer wished to send funds from overseas he must first send us the shopping cart (click add to cart and copy the rectangular box into an email).  Add your address.  If you wish to send a wire or PayPal please specify.

e) Shipping to Canada is 40$ via UPS ground.  Shipping charges to all overseas countries is 160$ via UPS WoldWide.  This includes full insurance.

f) Please do not contact us with the same questions that are answered here.  All foreign inquiries must be sent by email.  after your order is approved then live chat or message conversations will be allowed. 

g) all overseas customers must understand that there is no dealer warranty overseas.  For pre-built laptops asus will offer warranty overseas directly however may decline to service highly customized ensemble notebooks.

3.  All desktop computers are promised to be shipped within 5-8 business days.  Laptops will be shipped within 3-5 business days.  We do deliver on time in the event we are late we make the best effort to make it up to the customer whether by upgrading transit to still arrive on time or adding freebies, rest assured timely delivery is always a top priority.  North eastern USA time in transit is about 1-2 days.  West coast time in transit is 3-5 business days.  Expediting is available.

4.  Paypal is our authorized credit card processor.  You do not have to have an account to pay us with a credit card through Paypal.  You have the right not to setup an account commonly known as a one time payment. To get to this payment page simply click on the link that reads "click here if you do not have an account" during checkout.  Checks, money orders, wire transfers are always welcome.  FPO/APO & International customers must make payment by check or wire.  Payment must be made payable to Tech Spot, 24 Ruby Ln, Plainview, NY, 11803, USA

5.  No, our systems come fully assembled and tested.  Any and all upgrades are also installed and configured.  Operating systems if paid for always include a certificate of authenticity and installation disks for all models.

6.  (Tech Spot LLC) BtoTech.com (formerly Geared2Play.com) is a N.Y. registered limited liability company. We must collect sales tax from buyers residing in NY state.

7.  All the components are tested individually even if the buyer does not purchase windows.  We use a software bootable tester that tests the cpu, memory, main board, controllers, harddrives, optical drives, video, even the psu.  This software is not offered under Support Files, but we do offer some general purpose testers that are legal for download.  The whole testing process takes about 3 hours from an automated program.  If the order includes a licensed copy of windows and tuning we will install all patches and drivers.
